Theresa’s Sweets & Treats is a home-based bakery in Manhattan, Kansas. We do custom people sweets, but primarily, we cater to dogs. You can find us most Saturday mornings at the Downtown Farmers Market of Manhattan at 4th and Leavenworth. We so sometimes do other special events. How we began:
Our small business came to be when Theresa Ketterer (owner) adopted Molly. The pup had really bad allergies, and Theresa couldn’t afford her medication. Theresa’s BFA was put to work decorating the treat while her lifelong experience baking Christmas cookies with her family came to good use. Molly was at market nearly every summer Saturday for 8 glorious years. Many in Manhattan knew her as “Molly from the farmer’s market.” She passed away February 29,2024. Good thing she had chosen and trained a successor in sister Daphne. The foster the family adopted June 1, 2021. Daphne has taken up the helm as chief taste tester and Salesdog. Make sure to say “Hi!” To Daphne when you visit our stall!

Theresa’s Sweets & Treats is licensed by the Kansas Department of Agriculture as a Commercial Feed Manufacturer and Distributor and all pet food products are registered with them as well.
