Theresa Marie Ketterer is an artist that mixes symbols from various cultures with images of wolves in abstract drawings. Born in San Diego, she also lived in California, Missouri, and, for 13 years, in Oklahoma. Both as an artist and an art historian, her primary focus is works on paper. She graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA with Emphasis in Art History, Theory, and Criticism in 2012. She studied drawing and painting at the Bauhaus Universit├Ąt-Weimar as an exchange student (2011) in Germany. In 2014, she received her MA in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University. Currently, Ketterer lives and works in Manhattan, Kansas.

Theresa Marie Ketterer is an art historian specializing in European early modern works on paper. She graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA with Emphasis in Art History, Theory, and Criticism (2012). She studied drawing and painting at the Bauhaus Universit├Ąt-Weimar as an exchange student in Germany. Ketterer interned at: the Illinois State Museum Chicago Gallery; Gilcrease Museum in Anthropology, Registration, and Art; the Art Institute of Chicago in the Prints and Drawings Department; and Metropolitan Museum of Art Drawings and Prints Department. Her undergraduate thesis, Decapitation Over Two Centuries: 1450-1650, about depictions of the Book of Judith, was advised by Susan Tallman. In 2014, she received her MA in Art History and Archaeology from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University. William Hood advised her MA thesis, Guercino’s Roman Period. Currently, Ketterer works as Assistant Registrar for the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum at Kansas State University.
